Some women liked the attention, I think.

imagined you hearing the person say that and then you close your eyes and concentrate for a second and then the lady screams and her face like explodes out in strips, like some kind of blooming flower.
i was imagining her accidentally walking her face into an errant straight razor but your version works well, too.
I can't understand people when they shout at me out of moving cars. Once I was passing a coffee shop with people drinking in front of it and I yelled, "I love coffee!" It was the best day of my life.
