and the deer said "i love you" to the hunter as the gun steadied

i was thinking the other day "every one hates me".

i think that frequently.

i decided i needed some unconditional acceptance in my life and went on the hunt for a kitten.

a few weeks went by. no kittens around which i thought was odd.

i asked a random lady if she knew where to find kittens because my heart was big and i felt sad a lot. she took my number.

the next day i had two kittens: a black male and a gray female.

the kittens are only 7 weeks old. i have been staring at them for two weeks not knowing what to name them.

naming something is difficult.

the easiest way to offend a stranger is to mispronounce their name.

then i remembered: unconditional acceptance.

so i named the kittens after a couple people i know.

the black kitten is blake butler.

the gray is sam pink.

here are some pics of the little assholes:

Hooray...

(I liked the white background. What happened to the white? What happened to the banner?)

cats make life a little more tolerable.

Now you can say things like:

"Sam Pink pissed on my shoes"

"Blake Butler put one of my fingers in his mouth and gnawed on it."

"Blake and Sam shit on sand then play with the sand."

They make you feel less lonely, and they don't talk shit, what else can you ask for?

Naming kittens after people is a good thing to do. Cats know how to make people think about things other than lonely. So good pick up, man.

xtx,

word. all children are little assholes.

molly,

blah. the white background and custom banner got deleted when i destroyed my blog. i think i have a backup of it somewhere and may bring it back. i'm still deciding if i am going to even keep the blog or fade out.

kristen,

that's what life's about right? tolerating it.

matt,

heh you already know what i was thinking.

mariana,

yes they do. it is nice to have some one still accept you regardless of regards.

martin,

thanks, i concur.

KITTENSZZZ!!!!!!
I have four cats and they pee everwhere which makes me sad.
Two sisteen year old cats. Jake is senile and pees EVERWHERE. Toby, his brother, also sixteen, has hyperthyoidism and a huge tumor- on his thyroid- and a heart murmur and was born with this wierd genetic hernia. I was told I could spend 2 grand for radioactive therapy but then he comes home and is- radioactive! You can only pet him for 20 minutes a day and then you need to keep him arms distance the whole time (this is for 2 to 4 weeks). We're not doing it.
Then there are the kittens. Rafa and Penny. Oh gosh.
Congratulations on the kittens. It's always good to get them in pairs. Really. Blake and San are sooo cute. Do they sleep on your head? I love kittens. I love my old guys too.
