i sit here holding a diet dr. pepper recently purchased from the vending machine
i wasn't really thirsty or desiring a diet dr. pepper
i think i was just bored

the ingredient list of the can confirms my assumption
diet soda is a chemical representation of a sugar and water mixture
diet soda has no intrinsic value
the diet soda is habit
habit is a trait of an addict
today idiots are celebrating adolf hitler's birthday and the smoking of marijuana
it is two separate celebrations
at least the neo-nazi asshole has something concrete to believe in
ask a pot head why today is more valuable than other days

Diet Coke Plus has some nutritional value as it contains vitamins and minerals. I'm a big fan.
why not just drink water and take some vitamins then?
What about bacon? What about it? I think a pack of it a week is the key to healthy living.
I once studied aspartine, or whatever the stuff in diet sodas is. It was for a course called "drugs and behavior". The woman who taught the class was dedicating her life to making it illegal. I think it's fair to say she failed at that, but she did teach us in the class about the horror if it. Death by seizure, brain damage, cancer...blablabla. If I am going to kill myself, it will be with bacon, not diet drinks. That class scared the shit out of me. My final paper for the class was "lsd and mdma" and I got to read all these boring medical reports about how so many people died of ecstasy, but there is no real toxic proof of lsd because it sort of disappears into the body in an untraceable way. People may jump off a bridge while they are on it, but the drug itself hides its toxicity- or may not even be toxic, sort of like weed (toxicity is measured by effect/death: alcohol is 1/8, weed is 1/4000, which is to say, not very toxic) unlike mdma, which often - woops! - kills people.
This was all eons ago. I'm sure there is all sorts of new info on everything.
Still, thought I'd share.
Because Diet Coke tastes better. ;)

diet coke tastes like diet coke. you have grown to like it. diet coke is something you drink because you enjoy regular soda but know the sugar is unhealthy.

Celebrations are made for idiots to celebrate their own idiotness, with the excuse of conmemorating something. I hate celebrations, I loath them, there is nothing more pathetic than the collective hipocrecy in a celebration.
